Tonight we had an awesome lightning storm. When I first saw it I didn’t have time to grab my gear and go, so by the time I got out most of it had passed. I drove out to the north west of where I live and I was able to capture a few strikes as the storm moved on. I combined three shots to create this image. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Last night (Sep. 3) I went out again into another storm and captured this gem. I got a lot of shots, but this is the one I set out to get. It took 2 hours and I got stuck on a flooded road on my way home…I think it was worth it, though.
