Inspired by the work of Jonathan Canlas, specifically his Lehi Series, I’ve been shooting more of what is around me everyday. Jon recently told me that “There is an amazing photo 10 ft away from you at all times.” I’ve really been trying to pay attention to that and recognize the art that is around me....
Martin Waugh is the genius behind Liquid Sculpture. With an extensive background in physics and computer programming, he has developed a very unique way to photograph water and other liquid drops. This is Abby. She was born on the 7th of June. At 5 lbs. 7 oz. she’s exactly the same size as my Catherine was at birth. I went to the hospital today to take a few very fresh images…we’ll be doing another session once she gets home. Enjoy!
