Every year Four Peaks gets a lot of snow. I can see the mountains from most of the roads near my house and have wanted to get a picture like this for the last 4 years. I was finally able to take the time this year right after a good storm.

Taylor & Nicole, Newlyweds

My younger brother, Taylor, and his new wife, Nicole, got engaged and married all in a week’s time shortly after Taylor’s return from deployment with the United States Navy. Without time to arrange proper pictures for the engagement or wedding (at the local courthouse), we scheduled time to do a “newlywed shoot” while they were visiting last month.

I have done more photos for this family than any other people I’ve ever photographed. It all started with Steven & Emily’s wedding, my being there for Winston’s birth last year, and on and on. I love working with Emily & Steven and we always have a great time together.

Nelson Family

It was my pleasure to photograph the Nelson family again this year. Last year, their little one helped me create the photo called “The Best Kiss Ever.” No such luck this year, but I’m very excited with the great light and setting we had to work with.
