This photograph was made near the Tempe Center for the Arts right next to Town Lake. The lightning that night was incredible and I got about a dozen photographs that I’m really happy with. This is a single exposure, processed in Photoshop CS3 for color/contrast. The exposure was ISO 100 f/8, 30 sec.
The sunsets in Arizona are usually pretty amazing this time of year, due to the monsoon season. We get a lot more clouds and storms that bring more interesting colors than usual. I’ve seen so many good ones but this is the first chance I had to go out on purpose to shoot the sunset...
