So, for my latest 365 to 30 photo I decided to make this beauty. This makes number 32 in my project. I took this shot 2 years ago…actually it’s 3 different shots that I brought together in Photoshop CS3. I boosted the colors to bring out the nice shades of purple, pink and orange that were going on due to the sunset happening out of the scene. Enjoy!
Lightning Photography Arizona
August 19, 2010 - 9:37 am - okay... I need a "love" button to click on. "like" just doesn't do it sometimes...
August 10, 2010 - 11:52 am - All three were taken within 5 minutes of each other. All the lightning that evening kept touching down almost at the same spot. I set up on a tripod and shot away with each exposure being around 15 seconds.
August 10, 2010 - 11:50 am - Spectacular! Were all three taken sequentially or at different intervals?
August 5, 2010 - 3:30 pm - You sure are a talented nature photographer!!! That's my very fav stuff you post!
Sky of Gold and Copper
August 3, 2010 - 5:12 pm - Wow! That almost makes me miss Arizona in the summer . . . .
August 3, 2010 - 3:07 pm - So I dabble in oil painting. I'm good, but really slow. My current painting has taken 7 years so far. I would love to have the skill to paint this shot.
August 3, 2010 - 8:19 am - Wow Larry, that's an awesome picture!
Arizona Storm — Panoramic Photo
Many of you know that the summer storms here in Arizona are amazing! I try to get out whenever one hits because the sights are worth capturing. Here’s another panoramic I created from 5 shots I got recently. I put them together using Photoshop CS3 and adjusted the color a little. Enjoy!

Arizona Sunset Panoramic
Last night the sunset was amazing. I decided to make a panoramic image and took 5 photos across the scene. I stitched them together in Photoshop CS3 and enhanced the color a little. I really love the result. You can also find this photo as today’s image for my Project 365 on Flickr.

July 25, 2010 - 7:54 pm - Beautiful! There is nothing better than a desert sunset.
July 25, 2010 - 1:15 pm - gorgeous! arizona sunsets are the awesomest!
Sedona Arizona Pictures
While we were in Oak Creek near Sedona last week, we took a day to see the “cliff dwellings” of the Native Americans who used to live in this region. These photos were taken in Red Rock National Park just west of Sedona. I’ve seen these mountains and rocks from far away many times, but getting this close to them was amazing.

Junipine Resort, Oak Creek, Sedona Arizona
Last week we all went up to the Junipine Resort in Oak Creek near Sedona, Arizona. We were there to take part in a family reunion–the first one for my immediate family. 6 of the 9 kids in my family were there, along with siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews. I took the chance to photograph some of the beautiful scenery that isn’t typically seen in Arizona. This state is very diverse and I thought I’d showcase our greener side in this post. Check back tomorrow for more of Sedona.

August 19, 2010 - 9:41 am - love them all, but the bee one is a great shot!!
August 3, 2010 - 5:14 pm - The girls and I camped here with my family last summer! Oak Creek is beautiful . . . you captured it nicely.
July 20, 2010 - 8:12 pm - today was fun! What do you charge for prints? I love the one of the yellow flowers.
