Last weekend I teamed up with Kelvin Leung for a bridal shoot with models Courtney and Hillary. Courtney is a very talented makeup artist and Hillary is an awesome hair stylist…she does hair for my wife, kids and even me. Courtney and Hillary also run their own blog called The Beauty Mark, where they give tips on fashion, makeup, hair and more…you should check them out! All of the flowers were donated by super-talented Lori from Arizona Family Florist in Chandler. We started off the shoot at an orange grove and then headed over to a nice open field that Kelvin found on his way to the grove.

Hermosa Inn Arizona Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure of second shooting for Carson Day a couple weeks ago at Kim and Roy’s wedding at the Hermosa Inn in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Carson and I have known each other for about 10 years and he is one of the people who has heavily influenced me in photography over the years. He recently re-located to Arizona from Orange County and continues to work there, as well as shooting Destination Weddings. Thanks Carson for an awesome experience!

Wedding Photographer at The Wright House Mesa Arizona

…and, we’re back! Here are some more details from Melanie and Adam’s wedding day. If you didn’t see part 1 of this post, click HERE. I love that Melanie and Adam didn’t conform to anyone’s idea but their own. Here you’ll see a perfectly choreographed first dance, as well as pie…yes, pie. I personally prefer pie over cake so that’s a no-brainer! After Adam got his chef’s jacket on and Melanie got her apron on they cut their piece, ate it and served everyone else…how cool is that!? very. On top of all that, they had some serious dancers as guests…especially the little girls.

Yes, she made this necklace.

Wedding Photography at The Wright House Mesa Arizona

Melanie and Adam were married this past weekend at The Wright House. It was a beautiful ceremony with creativity all around. Seriously folks, I wish you could have heard the vows…so unique! Their rings are also super-unique, each one imprinted with the other’s fingerprint on the inside of the ring–so they can always be “in touch.” The whole wedding had Adam and Melanie written all over it with bits and pieces of what make them who they are infused into each aspect of the wedding.

Aubree & Aaron | Mesa Arizona LDS Temple Photography

It was an absolute pleasure working with Aubree and Aaron. We did a bride/groom session the morning of their marriage at the LDS Temple . I met Aaron first and we snapped off a few shots of him before Aubree arrived. He was already all smiles, but as soon as he saw Aubree the smiles got bigger. The two of them couldn’t stop smiling during the entire session and I’m sure you can tell by looking through the images below.

Manny & Marissa | Southern CA Wedding Photography

It was my pleasure to be able to go to California to be with Manny and Marissa on their wedding day. Manny looks like a pretty tough guy, but Marissa has him smitten…not every groom makes the ring for his bride! I really enjoyed being around everyone and I enjoyed capturing all the moments that happened throughout the day. Congrats guys!!

Marissa was prepared for the rain we had that day.

This was the “candy-bar” they had at the reception. I loved it!

Kent and Janet | LDS Temple Wedding Photographer

Last weekend I went to the LDS Temple here in Mesa to photograph Kent and Janet after their ceremony inside the temple. Kent and Janet were a lot of fun and we had a great time together walking around the temple grounds. When I arrived at the temple it was raining and had been for some time. It stopped right before they came out of the temple and left us alone for the hour or so that we were shooting…we had the grounds all to ourselves, which is rare on a Saturday afternoon.
